Pez Sez ::Pez stands before the mirror holding up two different scratchy robes:: "Which to wear first? Chancellor of Law or Minister of Precedence?" ::He pushes the right-hand robe forward, cocks his head. He pushes the left- hand robe forward, pushes out his lower lip:: "They tell me the shift to Minister of Precedence is a promotion so I guess I'd better start there." >>>>====--------====<<<< Lord Pez, Minister of Precedence here. Just a few things to mention on the last set of rankings: 1) Sure enough, I made a typo in the text. The last rankings included games reported all the way up to *April* 12th. If you have a completed game before that and it wasn't included, be sure it gets reported. 2) Several of you have emailed me corrections (thanks, I'll get right on them). I plan to have a corrected set of rankings out early next week. I'll email you before then if I need any sort of clarifications. 3) Remember to send your game results to DesrtFox69@aol.com, ToddVomit@aol.com and LordPez@aol.com >>>>====--------====<<<< ::Pez hops up:: "I'll be right back; just need to change robes. Now don't go away!" --==Pez Sez==-- Chancellor of Law Pez puts his ear to the monitor. "Could it be," he asks, "could it really be?" Yes, the furor over the error correction rule has finally dropped to a dull roar. It's time we moved on to the next portion in our rewrite of the GM's handbook. Today's topic, my glorious comrades: ***Default Order Of Loss*** Unless told otherwise by special player instructions, do casualties in the following order: Land Territories Attacking -- inf, arm, ftr, Bmb Defending -- inf, arm, Bmb, ftr Note the difference between attacking order and defending order. Attacker default -- Save Air (continue until all attacking ground forces are destroyed, then retreat any surviving air units). Sea Zones Attacking -- trs, subs, ftr, Bmb, AC, BB Defending -- trs, subs, ftr, AC, BB *Exception* -- in a no retreat situation involving *only* attacking air units, defending subs are lost before other defending units. Attacker default -- Kill at all Costs (air units continue attack until Sez Zone is cleared). Special Orders of Loss Players may alter the order of loss in any manner they wish. Attacking players need only send special instructions with their attacking turns. Defending players need to send special instructions prior to the attacking turn (to accommodate the sub withdrawal rule). Such instructions may be sent secretly. ************ And there you have it folks. Pretty simple, but watch closely! Here is a neat trick you will want to look out for. It's Russia one and a crafty Allied player sends the following attack: Baltic SZ (1 G trs, 1 G sub) 1 R sub from North Karelia 1 R ftr from Karelia land Karelia ***Special Instructions*** If at the end of any round only the G sub remains against the R ftr and R sub (a common occurrence following the default loss order) retreat the R sub to the UK SZ and continue the battle. G sub will die, guaranteed. Muh, ha, ha!!! You've been warned. Send in those first defense order of loss instructions with your bid. Until the election, keep those rules comments and questions coming my way. LordPez@aol.com --==Pez Sed==--
