The Battlefield Revue

Welcome to the first BattleField Revue of the year. As you may have noticed things didn't run as smooth as before in the tournament office. I apologize for that, but I think that we have things back on track now so that there shouldn't be any further delays.

Tournament Player of the Year 2003

News And Other Stuff

The Tournament Season started with the Masters Invitational, Veterans Classic and Combat Pro tourneys. I am happy that Byrons_Brigade is back to help manage these tournaments. Unfortunatly the number of sign ups was not as high as last year.

The Spring Classic Tournament is about to start in early April. Last year 56 players signed up for this tournament and I hope that we can test the 64-player-barrier this year!

I got several proposals for special tournaments in the past, unfortunatly there was no response from the membership so that those tournaments could not be held. Once the 2003 tournaments are done we will have a new tournament this year: the Champions League. The winners of the Masters Invitational, Spring Classic, Summer Open and Fall Classic as well as the finalists of the Combat Pro and Veterans Classic will play against each other to determine the ultimate tourney player!

Tournament Reports

2002 Fall Classic: Blitzkrieg! – And the winner is...

... cnty9047@! Congratulations, Dave! A second place and a win in the 2002 tournament session puts him on the third place of the Tournament Player of the Year table.

2002 WorldCup

The World Cup is over... and winner is: Italy! Novi isn't too happy about his victory, though, as he got the title without having to fire a single bullet... his opponent did not answer the challenge, and after months of waiting and various emails the title was awarded to Italy...

2003 Combat Pro

And the winner is .... Nightwing! My congratulations for this excellent performance.

2003 Masters Tournament

Congratulations to HoganS for winning the 2003 Masters Invitational. Frogman10@ tried his best, but HoganS prevailed in the end...
