Ger: Continue the bloodbath in ukr, take out uk ships in Atlantic,
send Monty packing in Egypt
UK: Take out Kwang (lose a ftr), build navy
Jap: Take empty India, wipe out sink and retake Manch
USA: Tools up the trns

Allied Strategy I like to take as many IPCs as possible in Russia 1 - hence
the Ukr and Man attacks.
Key battles
Germany 1 was very strong. The taking of Egypt w/ 4 Inf 2 Arm and no Ftrs lost in the Royal Navy destruction left the UK on their heels. Went for the Kwa surprise and lost a Ftr.

Rus: Tools up arm, bloodsport in Ukr ongoing.. retakes Manch (grr!)
Ger: Claims all of Africa including Persia
Uk: Send RAF to strafe Panzer div. in Persia (lose bmbr)
Jap: Stealing a page from RAF 4 ftr,bmbr sent to wipe out last of
chinese in Kazahk..cost..2 ftr (OUCH!!), tools up ic in Burma
USA: Invades F/N beginning Murmansk convoys!

Allied Strategy
Germans took Africa - way too fast. UK 1 gave Germany the option of going
Arm vs Inf in 2 battles (50/50)'s. Germany won both. Was forced to pick
off 1 of those tanks, cost me a Bmr to go with that lost Ftr. Gonna miss
these units later in the game.
Big decision was made here. The allies could either bang away on Germany
or
the Russians could turn to face the Japs. Decided to face the Japs for 3
reasons. 1) The Japs were vey weak in Asia and 2) the Germans were very
weak in Africa. 3) The Germans were in a good position to put up one ell of
a fight for Berlin.
Key battles
2 German Armor victories and loss of a UK Bmr. The loss of the 2 Jap Ftrs
helped to offset the sting of early losses.

After brutal battles in Turns 1 & 2, the game goes into the phony war. US, UK
and Russians pump in Inf, Germans pump Inf, Japs setup ICs.
